Limbo Magazine is a concept for a new publication, that aims to explore and showcase the exciting new space between physical print and digital media, within the realms of typography and typographic design. This includes articles and interviews with a range of established and emerging creatives, as well as featuring edition-specific contributions from designers and foundries around the world.
With aspects of design like variable typefaces, integrated animations, interactive web frameworks and other tools and outlets of up-to-date tech growing in demand, Limbo explores the intersection of a new territory between physical and virtual, static and dynamic, traditional and contemporary. To celebrate this intersection, the magazine would take a traditional physical format yet includes a digital framework for interaction using augmented reality.
